Just got back from an afternoon at Oxbow Park for the 18th annual
Salmon Festival. Saw HUGE Coho Salmon spawning and as an added bonus
managed to find the #1 letterbox. It's in great shape and waiting
patiently for more stamps. I think #2 may be AWOL. The fish should be
increasing in numbers 'til the end of the month or so. After you've
found the box go on the main trail past the "M and M" to a point where
the river takes a sharp right hand turn. There is a trail here to the
left out onto the rocky river bank. This is one of the main spawning
areas. Bring polarized glasses if you have them! Happy trails, Funhog
